Pratapgarh: Police on Thursday claimed to have broken the auto lifts inter-district gang and arrested six gang members near the Baharia Trisection, Mandhata Road while they planned to remove stolen bikes.
The police have also confiscated eight bicycles, five cellphones, and two states made together with two live cartridges from their ownership.
The captured Auto Lifters were identified as Mahendra Razak aka Nanchoo, Ravi Pandey, Sandeep Kumar Pal, Safe Mishra aka Ashutosh, Indal Kumar and Rahulvishwakarma, all residents of Pratapgarh.Tnn
