Prasagraj: With the surface of Ganga water and Yamuna receded at Phaphamau, Chhatnag and Naini from Thursday, people at the Prasagraj and Administration of the Regency of Lega.

Because of the sudden increase at the water level tons, Ganga and Yamuna did not recede with a faster level as expected.
The water level in the two rivers, in fact, increased according to reading 6 in the morning on Thursday.
However, around midday, Ganga began to recede while Yamuna became stable.
At 16:00, the water level from both rivers on the three recording sites recedes.
The ganga water level (at 6 am) in Phaphamau was recorded as 86.09 m, and the Chhatnag was 85.35 m.
Yamuna flowed at 85.84 m in Naini, namely, 1.10 m above the danger sign of 84.73 m.
At 4 pm, Ganga receded around 16 cm in Phaphamau, and 20 cm in Chhatnag.
Yamuna recedes a little only with 2 cm, according to recording at 4 pm.
Flood water further recedes in both rivers according to recording at 6pm.
Ganga flowed at 85.89 m in Phaphamau and 85.08 m in Chhatnag.
Yamuna in Nini further recedes 2 cm, and flows at 85.80 m.
However, with both rivers still flowing on a sign of danger, some areas located in their banks flooded.
District administration, together with the NDRF team, visited many of the flood-affected areas on Thursday and distributed important items, including drinking water, to local residents stranded.
Deputy Chairperson of Minister of Keshav Prasad Maurya also conducted an air survey of areas affected by flooding in the district.
“I have seen extensively about flooding, and has instructed administration to continue to provide all the necessary assistance that residents are stranded necessary.
