Hubballi: heavy vehicle traffic returns in twin cities when commuters come out in large quantities after relaxation of locking restrictions.
Most of the roads in the city of Hubballi watch traffic jams that cause dust and noise pollution.
Police personnel assigned by enforcing the rules of traffic together by ensuring a smooth traffic movement now feel very difficult to streamline the traffic movement.
Some intersections, including Channamma Circle, Ditnesspeth, Koppikar Road, Station Road, Janata Bazar Road, Karwar Road, PB Road and other streets choked with Traffic Snarls.
Hubballi-Dharwad DCP (Crime & Traffic) R B Basargi told the Toi, because of unlocking and relaxation of norms, the traffic movement has increased dramatically.
“Increasing the volume of vehicles on all roads is the main cause of major traffic on the road.
People who own their own vehicles seem to prefer their own vehicles for movements in the city that have produced a large vehicle movement,” he added.
“On several roads in Hubballi-Dharwad, a number of road development work by Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City, national highways and others are taking place, which they have galied.
To divert traffic on the road, the police department is trying the best,” he added.
Ashok P, wholesale clothing traders at Kanchagar Galli said: “Seeing the crowd, people think there is a big business, but actually the people here are only to reach the PB road or other market areas through Koppikar Road, Durgadbail and other areas in the city.
“Because of the blockage on several roads in the city, people fend off internal streets, not the main road, which produces traffic chaos in the city.
Autos, cars and other vehicles including mini goods vehicles cause traffic problems,” said Patil Mohan Durgadbail.
Because of the attitude of negligent authority, road development work in the court circle will occur at the speed of the snail.
