New Delhi: Former Indian Spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday said he had tested positive Covid-19 and is currently under quarantine.
41-year-old veteran spinner, who announced his retirement from all forms of the game last month, had mild symptoms.
“I have tested positive for covid with mild symptoms.
I have quarantined myself at home and took all the necessary precautions,” Harbhajan tweeted.
“I will ask them who come into contact with me to get themselves at the earliest.
Please be safe and careful,” he added.
Harbhajan is scheduled to compete in the ongoing Cricket League Legends tournament in the Muscat of the second and final leg, starting January 24, but he will not be able to participate now.
One of the most successful Indians in India, Harbhajan took 417 goals in 103 tests, 269 goals in 236 ODIS and 25 scalp in 28 T20IS in his famous career.
