HC Looking for a Med Forminor Board Report Obortion Survivor

Prayagraj: Hearing a request for a small rape who looked for permission to stop his 19-week pregnancy, the High Court of Allahabad had directed the Constitution of the Medical Council to conduct a medical examination and submit his recommendations on the feasibility of terminal terms of pregnancy (MTP).
The applicant has been looking for clues to the state government to allow him to end his unwanted pregnancy, stating, “Pregnancy has caused the extreme sadness for him that it formed a big injury to his mental health.” The division bench consisting of Judge Manoj Kumar Gupta and Justice Deepak Verma passed the order in the petition submitted by victims of small rape.
The court has fixed September 3, 2021, as the next hearing date.
The applicant said his medical examination at the Government Hospital, Bulandshahr in July revealed the fetus was around 14 weeks later, meaning that it arrived at the date of pregnancy around 19 weeks.
The court directed the Principal of Lala LAJPAT Rai Medical College, Meerut, to form an expert board of Gynecology, Psychiatry, Radiology and Pediatrics for the Applicant’s medical examination, and submit its recommendations in the closing of the district, first of all, Meerut, which will act as a board member coordinator medical.
Additional District Judges, First, Meerut has been asked to continue the report to the High Court positively on September 2, 2021.
The court also directed the applicant to approach medical boards for medical examinations.
The court also directed the state counsel to communicate his command to the police senior supervisor, Bulandshahr, to provide security protection to the applicant and someone who accompanied him to medical for medical examinations.
In accordance with the terms of medical pregnancy (amendments) Act, 2021, the limit for abortion has increased to 24 weeks for certain women’s categories, including rape victims.
Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act (MTP) enables termination of pregnancy in rape cases by increasing the assumption that sadness caused by pregnancy in these cases causes mental injury.
The court issued this direction on August 27.
