HC looks for detailed power fraud at 144 Jhansi Village

Prayagraj: The High Court of Allahabad has directed the government’s advice to notify the court about the status of the investigation and the arrest made so far in the alleged multi-crore fraud, which has taken place while peeling around 144 villages in the Bundelkhand area under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikan Yijna.
The court then directs state advice to find out whether until now the material evidence has been collected to find the alleged truth because a large number of villages are made part of the investigation.
“If the evidence has been collected referring to the villages, whether the defendant after it was arrested, if the guarantee was not given and if they had not been arrested, the reason was,” the court further added.
Hearing the pill was submitted by one Girraj Singh on July 26, acting Chief Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari and Justice Ajigi Tyagi was directed to register this case on August 5, 2021 for the next hearing.
According to the Petitioner, a contract was given to a company based in Hyderabad with Rajiv Gandhi Vidyutikaran YOJNA to finance 144 villages in Jhansi from the Bundelkhand region.
It is suspected that Hyderabad-based companies in collusion with state electricity engineers obtained payment without completing work.
When fraud came to Limelight, a FIR was filed in this connection on July 5, 2019, at the Navabad police station in Jhansi District.
Furthermore, the Department of State Secretary was entrusted with the task of investigating this fraud involving several crores rupees.
In this pill, the applicant has accused that the Department of Precautions did not carry out investigations correctly.
Therefore, the applicant has asked the court to direct the Department of Precautions to complete the earliest investigation.
