Prayagraj: The High Court of Allahabad on Monday directing the central government, the state government, the control council for cricket in India (BCCI) and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) to submit their respects in response to individual appons and corporate groups as members of life from the cricket association.
While passing the direction above, the court also issued a notification to 29 individuals and groups of companies looking for respectively in case with the next hearing date.
Hearing the Writ petition submitted by One Manoj Kumar Pundir and six others, the division bench consisting of Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta and Dr.
Justice Yogendra Kumar Srivastava remained February 3 as the next hearing date.
The Applicant was chosen by the Apex Board member (Board of Management Agency) of the UPCA.
According to them, as many as 24 individuals and five companies Illegally appointed as ‘members of the life’ of the UPCA without following legal procedures and processes according to the recommendation of the Lodha Committee and the Accounts of Receivables in 2018 in this case.
According to the applicants, several members of the Apex Board released their position after the 2018 APEX court ruling because it had attracted ‘disqualification’ based after undergoing UPCA for more than nine years.
However, ‘male disqualified’ as it was made by members ‘board of directors’, through backdoors, because they could not become members of the ‘Apex Council’ because they had served UPCA for more than nine years.
