Prayagraj: The High Court of Allahabad on Tuesday has only arrested two men who were accused of posting content slandering on social media against Champat Rai, Secretary General of RAM Janmabhoomi Trust.
The court subsequently asked the state government to submit a counter-affidavit (reply) in this case and issued a notification to Champat’s brothers Rai Sanjay Bansal, who had submitted FIR against two men in Nagina police in Bijnor.
Justice SP Kesarwani and Justice Piyush Agrawal passed orders in two separate petitions submitted by Vineet Narain and Rajneesh Limb, both of them were accused of in this case.
On June 19, a complaint was submitted by Sanjay Bansal that the applicant had posted several social media posts against Champat Rai based on false accusations made by one ALKA LAHOTI with the intention to promote hostility or hatred between classes.
The applicant’s submission is that of the reading of FIR, no violations made and FIR is submitted everywhere that does not reveal the commission of violations by the applicant.
Therefore, the Pierced FIR was feasible to be canceled.
The court after hearing the relevant parties was observed, “naked the first information report was revealed showed that even if the accusation made in the first information report was taken down overall, they were not a violation alleged.” “From the mentioned above, the Prima Facie appeared that the first information report was revealed which could not be maintained in the legal view stipulated by the APEX HON’BLE court in the state of Haryana and others vs Bhajan Lal,” added the court.
While issuing notifications to Sanjay Bansal, a fixed court July 27 as the next hearing date in this case.
