Gorakhpur: For almost two days after the body of a female student at the Department of Science DDU, DDU Gorakhpur University was found dependent on a university warehouse on Saturday, the police on Monday registered a murder case against the head of department and his colleagues on written complaints from the father’s father.
The body of the 24 year old student, Priyanka Kumari, was also cremated on Monday by his family.

Providing further details, SSP Gorakhpur Dinesh Kumar P said, “Postmortem from the deceased was carried out by the panel of two doctors and video charts.
According to the autopsy report, the cause of death was caused by asphyxia as a result of the hanging antemortem.
However, at the family request, the panel of five doctors Formed by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will review the postmortem video.
