Written by news2in

Davanagere: Karnataka State House Guards and Civil Defense Regional Training Center have emerged in Devarabelakere Village in Harihar Taluk from the Davanagere area.
This is intended to provide basic training for newly joined home guards, and also advance training in disaster management to them later.
This is the third training center for house guards in India, the other two are in Bengaluru and Nagpur.
The house keeper from North Karnataka was trained by the Davanagere center while their South colleagues were trained at the center of Bengaluru.
This center has hostel blocks for men and women, seminar rooms, administrative offices, and dining rooms with kitchens.
Modern devices to overcome disasters such as floods, fires, road accidents (part of disaster management) have been added to the center at the cost of Rs 84 Lakh Pandemi, said Dr.
BH Veerappa, Commander of the District Housekeeper (retirement).
The center is managed by only five staff members even though 21 posts are subject to sanctions for the facility, he added.
The Puskesmas did not have a telephone connection as Devarabelakere Village did not become a land network.
Therefore, staff members face problems in accessing the internet.
In addition to training in house guards, the center also trains the police and firefighters and lends its infrastructure to train teachers and guides.
