Dubai: Skipper Namibia Gerhard Erasmus expressed his disappointment when his team was defeated by India in their last Super 12 match from the T20 World Cup at Dubai Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Rohit Sharma and the fiery partnership Kl Rahul helped the Indian team beat Namibia with nine-goal.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadyja took three of each of them as men in Blue limiting Namibia to 132/8.
“We haven’t really been able to soak inside (experience) because of the fast turnaround between the game.
Only once we return home, we will be able to realize that we play extraordinary cricket levels and compete against several strong teams,” Erasmus said in the presentation After the match.
“Some prominent performances individually to be taken home as positive, and also as a team.
A good positive and hopefully we can work to be better.
May we inspire some people with our appearance to take sports,” he added.

Skipper Gerhard Erasmus and David Wiese did try to revive Namibia’s innings but Ashwin rejected the captain when the team lost half their sides.
Gawi continued to fall at regular intervals and Namibia was immediately shaken on 117/8.
