Abu Dhabi: Batter coach India Vikram Rathour on Tuesday confirmed that he had been applied again for the same position as he felt there was a lot of work left to do.
Rathour was the only one of the current support staff, who was interested in the second assignment as head coach Ravi Shastri, Bowling coach Bharath Arun and Field coach R Sridhar had decided to continue.
“In the future, I have filed a battery coach job and if I get the job, there will be a lot of work to do.
(I) will take it as if,” said Rathour in pre-match a press conference ahead of the team match against Afghanistan to query by PTI.
Rathour took over as the Indian batter coach of the former Indian Batsman Sanjay Bangar in 2019 and his appointment until the end of the World Cup 2021 T20.
Under Ratour as coach of Batting, India won a series of historic tests in Australia and also struggled England on their homeland earlier this year.
Rathour Jalandhar-born 52 years played six tests and seven odi for India, with a refund of 131 and 193 each of them each.
The right hand batsman played 146 first-class matches and collected 11,473 runs from him.
Rathour emphasized that it was a great experience to work with Captain of Virat Kohli and his children in the Indian dressing room.
“I think this PC is for the World Cup.

BCCI has invited applications for head coaches, coach battery, coach Bowling, and field dating and the last date to apply for batter’s coach jobs are November 3 hours 5pm.
This is a mere formality for Rahul Dravid to take over as a national coach.
