Dubai: ICC on Thursday launched the T20 World Cup National Examination that will come along with the campaign film featuring ‘Avatar’ from Indian Batting Maestro Virat Kohli and West Indian Skipper Kieron Pollard.
The tournament will begin on October 17 in Oman and the UAE, with the final to be played in Dubai on November 14.
Proposed by Bollywood Music Director Amit Trivedi, an animated film displays young fans from all over the world involved in the T20i cricket and covers some of the largest sport superstars.
India Captain Kohli leads a group of players who are turned on as ‘avatar’ in animation, who interact with each other.
Kohli joined the Captain Pollard from government champions, West Indies and Glenn Maxwell and Rashid Khan from Afghanistan.
Launched in collaboration with Global ICC broadcast partners, Star Sports, Prime films around the world on Thursday crossed the Social Media Handle ICC, BCCI, and Star Sports.
This animation displays new broadcast technology that combines 3D and 2D effects to make films.
The production team is more than 40 people, including designers, models, matte painters, animators, matches, and compositors, working all the time to produce the final version.
A total of 16 countries, display the biggest name of Sport and the best team, will compete at the biggest sport program since the Covid-19 pandemic.
“There is something magical and special about wearing western Indian jersey and stepping into the field,” Pollard said.
“The upcoming World Cup will give us a more special moment.
We know our fans will be fully involved, watch, and support and we want to give them a lot to cheer,” he added.
The opening of the tournament took place on October 17 because Oman took the debut of the T20 World Cup Papua New Guinea at the Oman Muscat Cricket Academy.
