Prasagraj: Director of the Prestigious Indian Information Technology Institute – Allahabad (IIITI-A), Prof.
P Nagabhushan, has submitted his resignation from his position.
A prominent computer scientist, Prof.
Nagabhushan will soon join as Deputy Chancellor of Baru Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (considered university), which is located near Guntur in Andhra Pradesh.
“I have sent my resignation letter to the Union of the Ministry of Education and was asked to be released with my responsibility at IIIT-A on February 18,” said Prof.
Nagabhushan.
After enriching and fulfilling the term of office in IIITI-A, I hope now serving the Vignan foundation for science, technology and research (considered university) as a new VC, he added.
Prof.
Nagabhushan’s resignation came when he still had more than four months of his tenure as IIIT-A left director.
