Hampi (Vijayanagara): Acting on several complaints of illegally operating resorts near the Ruins of the Mediaeval Metropolis, the management authority area of the World Hampi Area (Hwama) sealed more than 53 commercial companies.
All of these companies are located in the core zone on the northern edge of the Tungabhadra River.
The owners of these companies, all of which can be disappointed, have shown that Hwama has not started an action against resorts, hotels, et al, operating illegally on the banks of the South River.
The owner has asked Hwama to become bipartisan in his duty dispensation, and demanded that the company operate illegally in the core legacy zone on the south edge of Tungabhadra is also closed.
The source said that many illegal resorts and hotels have been established without permission needed in Kaddiramapur, Kamalapur and other villages on the south bank of the river, which is under the scope of the core heritage zone.
“Many of these companies were established on unforgivable farms, and without obtaining permission from competent authority.
However, Hwama has not started the action against these companies,” said a source.
The owner of a hotel in Sanapur in Gangavati Taluk, which was recently closed by Hwama questioned the discriminatory attitude of agency against the company on the other side of the river.
“Hwama officials and the revenue department authorities ordered us to close the store, and we did not mind because this was law.
But Hwama seems blind to commercial activities carried out by breaking the same rules on the south edge of the river.
If the inheritance authority is truly concerned about sanctity Hampi, it must close all illegal companies, “the owner said.

There are no questions about our bias.
We will start actions against all illegal resorts and hotels without delay,” Hirpath said.
