Karachi: Experienced Spinner-Spinner Yasir Shah in Pakistan on Monday is not chosen for the two-match test series that will come against Bangladesh after failing to recover from a thumb injury.
The Pakistani selector announced a 20-member squad for the series with Imam-ul-Haq and Off-Spinner Bilal Bilal Asif to get a withdrawal back to the national side.
Muhammad Wisiim’s head voter said that Bilal had been picked in a yasir place which was still recovering from a thumb injury which also forced him to miss the ongoing class of class quaid-e-azam match.
Yasir, who is the most experienced Bowler Pakistani test is currently played in the test series drawn last in West Indies in July-August.
Voters also included off-spinner Sajid Khan and Zahid Mahmood’s leg-spinner in the squad while Young Pace Bowler Shahnawar Dahani had been abandoned without getting his debut.
He is part of the test team that tours West Indies.
Both tests will be played in Chittagong (November 26-30) and Dhaka (December 4-8).
The imam of the left-handed mixture has been recalled to his Stellar show in the Quaid-e-Azam Cup where he has collected 488 running in five rounds, including the twice-calight century.
The priest has played the 11th test and finally against Australia in Adelaide in November / December 2019.
Bilal, who has taken 16 goals in the last five tests played in 2019.
Selectors also included Batsman who has not been picked for a West Indies tour after being named for the series House tests against South Africa earlier this year.
Kamran is currently in Sri Lanka with Pakistan Shaheens where he scored 58 and 45 in two innings from the four-day series that affected the rain.
Wasim said, “We have chosen the squad after discussion with team management and after considering the potential make-up of opposition and conditions where the test will be played.” Because we already have four fastline fast Bowlers, we have allowed it Haris Rauf and Shahnawaz Dahani to return to Pakistan after T20i so they can play in the quaid-e-azam trophy and prepare for the Australian test.
