Prayagraj: With the authorities of the University of Allahabad are busy making preparation of the meeting ceremony, scheduled to be held on November 8, full dress training is held at the Hall of the AU Campus Senate on Monday.

“We managed to organize full-minute exercises in full minutes at the Hall of the Arts Campus where the process, which will be followed during the convocation ceremony, was practiced”, said the AU (PRO) Public Relations official, Jaya Kapoor.
Exercise is done after the Covid-19 protocol because all ceremonies related to the convocation will be held after all the norms set, he added.
Education Minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan will be the leading guest of the function where the medal and degree will be given to students contributing from the 2018-19 and 2019-20 academic sessions.
Along with this, the honorary degree dlitt will also be reduced to the lyric binders recorded at the ceremony.
It has also been decided that the whole event will also be broadcast live on YouTube.
Previously, AU held a convocation ceremony after a long 15-year gap on September 5, 2019.
Mulia Laureate Kailash Satyarthi was the main guest on the event which delivered the address of his president.
This was the first meeting after the AU was restored as a central university in 2005.
Prior to this, the last AU organized a meeting in 2003-04.
Convocation was also held in 1993-94 during Prof SC Srivastava as VC.
The university has invited the party of the Jamajwadi Party and Defense Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav as a guest and former president who respected APJ Abdul Kalam and the former Commissioner of the Main Election of TN Sheshan each with Honyary DSC and Degrees.
To hold the AU convocation has made all preparations and a total of about 304 contributed students will be provided with different medals.
In addition to 550 students will be awarded the PhD in a ceremony scheduled for November 8, the convocation will provide medals and titles for students to fight from the 2018-19 and 2019-20 sessions.
Of these, 146 academic sessions 2018-19 and 158 students of the 2019-20 Academic Session will be awarded medals.
Medals will be given to 133 female students in their functions.
According to the Medal list, released on the official AU website, 146 merit medals must be given for the 2018-19 academic session.
Of these, 66 medals will be given to female students.
Meanwhile, for the 2019-20 academic session, a total of 158 futures medals should be given.
Of this amount, a maximum of 67 female students will be given with a meritorial medal.
