Prasagraj: In a movement to reduce the difficulties of residents, especially those in other countries and senior citizens find it difficult to travel to police stations to file complaints during Pandemi, District Police Prayagraj on Monday launched a video call complaint facility using WhatsApp.
This was the first time when Prayagraj District Police launched online video call facilities in the state to register complaints and complaints.
Deputy Inspector General of Police / SSP (Prayagraj) Sarvashreshthrath Tripathi on Monday launched service and attended the first video call complaint.
SSP told Tii, “This video call facility will help people sit abroad and senior citizens, sick people and women who live alone in their homes to register their complaints to senior officials and police who will make an effort sincere to get the right complaint.
” He further said that the facility would also be convenient for people during the Covid-19 pandemic because many people did not want to visit the police station.
According to officials, people who need to report complaints can send them to the WhatsApp 9984781881 number or make a video call to the senior police between 12 noon to 2 noon.
On the first day, the senior police attended 72 video calls.
SSP, meanwhile, ensure that they will make other settings so that the delayed call must also be overcome.
Complaints attended by senior police will be forwarded to each station for further actions and investigations.
A senior police said, “There are many incidents when people who sit abroad or other countries cannot come to register their complaints during covid pandemics and want to solve their problems.
