Cape Town: India has been fined 40 percent of their match fees for maintaining a slow excessive level against South Africa in the third ODI here, the ICC said on Monday.
Match referee Andy Pycroft which imposes sanctions after the team into two KL Rahul ruled that lack the target after time allowances taken into consideration.
“In accordance with Article 2:22 of the Code of Conduct ICC for Players and Personnel Support Players, which deals with violations of the level of excess minimum, players are fined 20 per cent of the cost of their matches on each side of them fail within the period specified within the stipulated time,” said ICC in a statement.
