New Delhi: Two new teams Premier League (IPL) – Sanjiv Goenka’s RPSG Group for The Lucknow Franchise and the Ahmedabad CVC Capital team on Tuesday received formal permits from the control board for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The formal permit was given after the meeting of the Indian Premier League Board (IPL) on Tuesday and Ahmedabad and Lucknow had also been given a time frame for the signing of the player before the Mega auction took place.

BCCI has found a new title partner at Tatas, and the agreement has been “yes, formal permits have been given to Lucknow and Ahmedabad franchises.
Both have been given two weeks to complete their draft picks,” Chairman of the IPL Brijesh Patel told Ani.
Patel also confirmed that the IPL auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
“Yes, auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13,” Patel said.

“Yes, Tata will replace Vivo as a title sponsor,” said Patel Ani.
Vivo still has two years left in the sponsorship agreement with the league and as a result, during this period, Tata will remain a major sponsor.
