New Delhi: Two New Premier League (IPL) teams India – Ahmedabad and Lucknow are officially named their draft ahead of the upcoming Mega auction for the 2022 season.
The Ahmedabad team has chosen Hardik Pandya (RS 15 Crore), Rashid Khan (Rs 15 Crore), and Shubman Gill (Rs 8 Crore).
While the Lucknow team has chosen to go with KL Rahul (RS 17 Crore), Marcus Stoinis (Rs 9.2 Crore), and Ravi Bishnoi (Rs 4 Crore).
Vikram Solanki has been appointed as Director of Cricket Ahmedabad while Hardik Pandya will lead the franchise.
Gary Kirsten will function as a coach and a batting mentor from the Ahmedabad franchise while Ashish Nehra has been appointed as head coach.
Talking about Lucknow, Kl Rahul will wear a captain’s hat.
Andy Flower has been named the coach of the Lucknow franchise while the former Gautam Gautam Gautam Gautam will function as a franchise mentor.
Previously, the pandya hardik was not maintained by Mumbai Indians while Kl Rahul decided to part with Punjab Kings because he wanted to go to the auction.
In the 2021 season, Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
While Ravi Bishnoi and Marcus Stoinis representing Punjab Kings and Mother Delhi.
Previously, the AHMedabad IPL franchise and Lucknow were asked to submit their draft picks list on January 22.

Two new IPL teams – Sanjiv Goenka RPSG Group for The Lucknow Franchise and the Ahmedabad CVC Capital team have received formal permits from the control board for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Formal permission was given after the meeting of the IPL government council.
Brijesh Patel also confirmed that the IPL auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
“Yes, auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13,” Patel said.
