New Delhi: BCCI contemplates two Dates Starting for the Indian Premier League 2022 with several Kickoff March 27 preferences and several other influential people who want the Mega event starting on April 2, which is in accordance with the Decision of the Lodha Committee.
“Some owners preferred to start March 27 but India played their last international match against Sri Lanka, A20i in Lucknow on March 18, and then you needed a 14-day gap according to the Lodha rules, which was why April 2 could be the beginning of the date,” said an official Senior BCCI to PTI with anonymity requirements.
It can be understood that Indian players will also run out after three back-to-back bubbles in South Africa (far) and at home against West Indies and Sri Lanka.
“BCCI must take the fatigue of the player’s bubble into the account if they start the IPL in less than 10 days completion of Sri Lankan tours,” said BCCI source.
Also studied that all 10 owners of the IPL, including two new teams from Lucknow and Ahmedabad, wanted India as the host country for IPL 2022, with Mumbai and Pune into two preferred cities.
Their second choice is the United Arab Emirates where IPL has been organized three times while the last option is South Africa where the Mega event was held back in 2009.

As reported in several quarters, Sri Lanka as the host was not even discussed at a meeting.
As far as the mega auction date is concerned, they remain 12 and 13 February in Bengaluru according to their original schedule.
“Today’s meeting is mainly about the owners who try to submit their advice on the problems of their choice.
“Mumbai has three reasons and we have more pune land on the highway than Pune City.
Do it in Wankhede, Brabourne Stadium and Dy Patil (Navi Mumbai) and Gahunje Stadium.
So there will be no air travel and there will be no bubbles.
In one city without bubble to transfer bubbles, “added the official.
The second choice is the UAE where they have a tight bio bubble and the two editions are successfully held.
“South Africa is the last choice but until now, we don’t even think about it as an option.
This is the last choice.
As far as it involves the entry, calls cannot be easily taken.
It will be taken closer to the tournament,” added the source.
