New Delhi: BCCI contemplates two Dates Starting for the Indian Premier League 2022 with several Kickoff March 27 preferences and several other influential people who want the Mega event starting on April 2, which is in accordance with the Decision of the Lodha Committee.
“Some owners preferred to start March 27 but India played their last international match against Sri Lanka, A20i in Lucknow on March 18, and then you needed a 14-day gap according to the Lodha rules, which was why April 2 could be the beginning of the date,” said an official Senior BCCI to PTI with anonymity requirements.
