LONDON: England Pacer James Anderson on Thursday beyond Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to play the number of top home test matches.
Anderson achieved achievements in the next fourth test against India here at the Oval.
Pacer has now played 95 tests in England while Tendulkar played 94 in India.
Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting has played 92 tests at home home while cooking Alastair England has played 89 tests.
The same number of tests played by Steve Waugh in Australia.
