Dubai: India Pace Spearhead Jasprit Bumrah on Monday was nominated for the ICC ‘Player of the Month’ award for August after his brilliant performance with bats and balls in the ongoing test series against England against England.
Besides Burrah, the other in the category of men including the UK Test Skipper Joe Root and Pakistan Pacer Shaheen Afridi, ICC announced.
The nomination among women is Nattaya Boochatham Thailand, and the Irish duo from Gaby Lewis and Eimear Richardson.

In women’s cricket, Boochatham contributed with bats and balls in the series against Zimbabwe, which encouraged him to the best position of career in the ranking of women’s T20i players for Batters, Bowlers, and All-Rounders.
His appearance helped Thailand win the T20i series of their three matches against Zimbabwe 2-1.
The Irish Duo Lewis and Richardson played a big role in three Irish wins from four in the European World Cup T20 ICC qualification in August.
Lewis became the first Irish player to score a century in women’s T20IS, during their 164-Run victory over Germany, in the tournament opening match.
The knock shows 11 crawling and three six, and 105 it drops only 60 balls.
Meanwhile Richardson, the tournament player was decided in European qualifications, thanks to his contribution with bats and balls.
He completed a tournament with seven goals at the economic level of 4.19, and the aggregate 76 runs with bats.
