Joe root vows to continue as captain despite the ash disaster

Hobart: The root of Joe England has vowed to continue as captain of the test despite having a 4-0 mauling in the hands of the Australian team in the ash series.
England lost 10 goals for 56 running on Sunday to lose the fifth test with 146 walks and submit a draw.
There was an increase in root calls to look down as captain and concentrate on his punch, allowing someone with fresh ideas to take a helmet.
But the only prominent candidate for that role, Ben Stokes, said earlier in the series he did not want the job and threw his support behind the roots.
Speaking after losing demoralization in Hobart, the root was undoubtedly he wanted to add to the calculation of a record 61 test responsible for England.
“I will admit it, we will go through a very difficult stage as a group,” Root said.
“Our performance and focus are not good, but I want the opportunity to turn things around.” I honestly believe that I am the best person to bring this team ahead, but if the decision was taken from my hand, so it was good.
“But I have appetite to continue.” Root said that no matter who the captain advanced, there needs to be a change in thinking in British cricket if the test team will increase.
“We have a real opportunity to prioritize test cricket and from behind this makes a very significant change in the game,” he said.
“Let’s hope that happens.” The root will not be withdrawn in what he needs to be changed, but he said he would talk to the administrator before three tests against West Indies in March.
“I will express my views on things and about how we can make significant changes in red ball games in our country,” he said.
“So let’s see how things take place in the next few weeks.”
