The fifth test between India and Britain was also postponed after the Junior Yogesh Parmar was tested positive for the virus in front of the match.
Another member of the Indian support staff, including the Head of Ravi Shastri, was in Quarantine after they tested the virus positive during the fourth test in the Oval.
All players who arrived in Dubai now have to quarantine six days and it could be the reason behind Bairstow and Malan came out.
A BCCI official told PTI that Bairstow and Malan the players would not be part of the IPL continuing September 19.
