Prasagraj: When the State Government plans to regulate the Most Kumph, 2025, at the Mega level, district administration is also preparing to develop several regions for tourist attractions.
One of these projects is the Kanihar City Lake project that will be developed in the effort with the Corporation Corporation (PMC) Doagrajraj (PMC) and the authority of the development of Prayagraj (PDA).
Proposed in an area of 65.68 hectares (more than 6.50,000 square meters) from vacant land near Jhunsi and Andawa Village, almost a few kilometers from the heart of the city of Sangam, the Kanihar city lake project will soon become a favorite picnic place for the city’s occupants.
While the PDA will develop forests using Miyawaki techniques, PMC prepares to hire consultants and work to rejuvenate the lake on the site.
After ready, Kanihar City Lake Forest will act as a vacation site for city residents and places to visit for tourists.
Although not an important part of the Mega project, the PDA has waved the tender to develop forests in two hectares of land near Kanihar’s natural lake in two months.
On his side, PMC will immediately prepare detailed project reports (DPR) and send the same to get the necessary funds.
“With the help of experts, we will renovate the Kanihar Jhuni lake area.
PMC will take the assistance of architects and expert consultants who will soon be employed,” said PMC Chief Engineer, Satish Kumar.
Kumar further said that the lake was spread in a large area and PMC plan to develop as a tourism center.
To make the lake and surrounding it more interesting, PMC also plans to build a cottage around the lake where visitors can come and stay for a few days.
Before renovation, the limit will be built around the lake to protect it from encroachment.
A few months ago, Commissioner of the City of Ravi Ranjan and Head of Engineers had examined the lake.
Kanihar lake that will be developed is about 3 kilometers from Ganga.
If everything goes according to plan, the project is expected to be completed before the start of Kumbh, 2025.
The path of approach to the proposed site has been built.
The wall of about 4.5 km was proposed around the lake so it was still completely protected.
After this, the main gate will be built on Jalan GT, along with two more gates on the path of approach.
Rohit Khanna, PDA supervisory engineer said, “PDA is preparing proposals and the same thing will be sent to the government for the first phase.
There will be very little concrete construction in the plan and the site will have a natural path made of grass with natural landscapes on both sides , the play area for children, open gymnasium, boating facilities, etc.
