Mangaluru: When Two Padma recipients that have attracted the nation’s attention for humility and simplicity they met each other in New Padpu at Harekala Village on Saturday, it was a moment to appreciate everyone around.
Walking barefoot to receive one of the highest civil respect in India from President of Ram Nath Kovind last week, Padma Shri Hajabba and Padma Shri Tulati Gouda stand out between all savings and win a million hearts.
On Saturday Tulagasi aka ‘Vruksha Mathe’ called Hajabba known as ‘Akshara Santha’ (Saint of Source) at his home on the outskirts of Mangaluru.
Tulanasi, his daughter Venkamma and grandchildren, Shekhar and Hema, visited Hajabba and breakfast at his home.

Hajabba said that even though both wanted to meet each other during the award ceremony in the national capital was impossible.
“I am happy that Gouda Tulanasi has visited the house of the poor.
I consider this as a great honor of my life.
I also can’t meet him at the airport,” Hajabba said.
In its part, 72-year-old Tulathing said he intended to support Hajabba in his dream.
“I will expand my support for the development of Hajabba school.
He must contribute more to the community and people must support it in his dream,” he said.
Then, Tulangasi was given a warm welcome by students and Hajabba school staff.
They took him in a procession from his home to school.
Both Padma recipients are respected by students and teachers.
Tulanasi also interacts with their children with pleasure.
He held students in Thrall with his innate knowledge of plants and how he got it while working with his mother since he was only 12 years old.
