Hubballi: When the name of the Union Minister Pralhad Joshi made a round of minister’s head, many of which were in Hubballi-Dharwad preparing to celebrate.
If it became a reality, Joshi would be the third politician from Hubballi, after SR Bommai and Jagadish Shettar to assume to be CM.
While Bommai and Shettar were members of the Assembly, Joshi was a member of the Dharwad parliament.
According to BJP sources, Joshi is preparing himself to hold new responsibilities for one-tw0 months.
Hubballi people, apart from political affiliates, said Joshi was able and he would prove himself as cm.
Umesh Dushi, a BJP leader, said that even though the Brahmani community, Joshi owned, had part of around 3-4% of voters in the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, Joshi had won here with a big margin.
“The community has around 85,000 votes in the election, but the margin of victory is more than 2 lakh in the 2019 election,” he said.
He added that the local party unit still knew whether Joshi would be made cm.
The Yashavant Sirdeshpande theater personality said it would be a problem for every resident of Hubballi to have another CM from the city.
“Joshi has a good sense of culture and a broad administrative perspective.
If not now, he will be cm at least in the near future,” he argued.
Joshi maintains a good relationship with other party leaders in Hubballi-Dharwad and Karnataka too.

Ig Sanadi said that when Joshi was trained by the end of HN Anant Kumar, and now close to the Prime Minister, he can be chosen for the cm post.
“We have observed Joshi’s commitment and dedication to his party.
Usually the National Party is looking for these leaders.
If he focuses on communal development and harmony, he will emerge as a leader who is better than North Karnataka,” he said.
