Kalaburagi: The Sharana Basaveshwara Temple in Kalaburagi re-opens the door for worshipers while holding on to the Covid-19 protocol after the Karnataka government issued a new guideline to open religious places from Monday.
“Religious places are allowed to open only for Darshan.
No Sevas is permitted,” read the government’s order.
The priest temple said, “We have reopened the temple for worshipers while holding on to the Covid-19 protocol.
We follow all government guidelines for Covid.
Heavy worshipers with orders.” The Minister of Kartataka BS Yediyurappa on Saturday announced further relaxation of the Covid-19 limitations in the state, as part of where the government office was allowed to reopen with the full work force and public transportation including the Metro will start operating with full seat capacity from Monday.
According to the state of the state government, hours of night will continue to be charged from 9pm to 5 in the morning but a weekend curfew (from 19:00 on Friday to 5 in the morning on Monday) has been appointed.
