Chennai: Tamil Nadu on Tuesday chose Wicketkeeper-Experienced Dipped Dinesh Karthik and All-Rounder Washington Sundar in the 20s forces for the Cricket Tournament Trophy Vijay Hazare.
Karthik missed the Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament which was won by Tamil Nadu in New Delhi on Monday due to injury while Washington Sundar had no action since the England tour earlier this year and was undergoing rehabilitation in Bengaluru.
Tamil Nadu, in Elite Group ‘B’, will play a preliminary match in Thiruvananthapuram.
This opened his campaign against Mumbai on December 8.
The team will be led by the All-Rounder Vijay Shankar, who attended the party to win at Trophy Mushtaq Ali, while the opening and jagousesan has been named after his deputy, according to the release of TNCA.
