Although the state government has canceled weekend meal and hours of working hours until 9pm, Kodagu Regency and Hassan will continue to remain below semilocdown.
Commercial companies will open only until 2 pm, while weekend hours will remain in place to ensure the flow of tourism is set.
In Kodagu, only shops deal with important commodities that can operate from Monday to Friday between 6am and 14:00.
This restriction will continue until July 19.
Charulatha Somal, Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu, directed authority to enforce rules strictly.
Officials have been told to arrange vehicle movements at checks between districts.
Those who entered the district had to undergo quarantine 14 days while tourists were prohibited.
Homestay, resort, lodges, and other travel facilities will remain closed and tourists from Kerala must provide a negative RPCR report that is no more than 72 hours to enter the district.
In Hassan, the total lock will continue on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to July 12.
R Girish, Hassan DC, has banned visitors from tourist attractions and places of worship.
Only 40 people are permitted for marriage, while banks and post offices will work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 1:00 p.m.
During the past week, Hassan has reported more than 200 positive cases every day.
On Sunday, 269 positive cases were reported, while the district had 2,668 active cases.
“The key will continue for a week because the level of participation in this district is around 5%,” said Dr.
Km Sathish, district health workers.
