Melbourne: The former opening and head coach on the senior side of the man, Justin Langer has been appointed by the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame with Raelee Thompson, one of the pioneers of women’s games in the country.
During his successful career as a player, Langer had formed a tough partner with Matthew Hayden in the cricket test, played a key role in Australia’s dominance at the beginning and mid-2000s.
Former Fast Thompson Bowler, 76, the Australian team captain on four occasions.
Thompson and Langer each became the 58th and 59th Indukees, because the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame was founded in 1996.
Langer took guidance after his retirement from international cricket and followed successful tasks in Scorcher Australia and West Perth, Langer Appointed as Australian men’s crickary team coach in May 2018, and led them to the Title of the ICC 2021 T20 World Cup and helped the team retain ash in 2019 and 2021-2022.
“Justin’s contribution to the clash of Australian cricket across four separate decades,” said Chairman of the Australian Cricket Hall Peter King.
“First as a player, as part of one of the most successful teams ever seen by Cricket World Cricket.
As a coach, he enters the role at a very need and leads the Australian men’s cricket team with various differences, the Australian public team is very proud.
“Duo Langer and Hyaden collected 6,081 operating jointly from 122 innings an average test of 51.53, including 14th century partnerships.
The Gritty Langer made a test against West Indies at Adelaide Oval in 1993 with 54 sandy, an innings where he had a helmet with intestinal shipments.
The 51-year-old langer finished his career with 7696 running an average of 45.27.
He also played in eight international days in a career covering 18 years and played first grade cricket for Western Australia, Middlesex and Somerset, scored 28,382 running an average of 50.23.
However, Langer spent the first years of his test career at No.
3, which includes the partnership of his famous match winner with Adam Gilchrist to pursue 369 against Pakistan in Hobart in 1999.
Thompson, applies from 16 tests.
23 One Day Internationals for Australia between 1972 and 1985.
Thompson remains the oldest player – a man or woman – to bring five goalkeeper in a test match at the age of 39 and 175 days.
About Thompson, the king said, “Raelee is also an induction that is appropriate, given his extraordinary contribution to the game when there are few fans at the elite level.” He is no doubt one of our big pioneer cricketers and represents green baggy with such differences – he is a decent recipient of this recognition.

Thompson took 57 traffic tests an average of 18.24 and 24 international goal one day at 18.66.
He also represents Victoria on 45 opportunities before being served as a voter for years.
“Raelee’s commitment to the progress of women’s cricket at all levels through mentoring and the administrative role is very inspiring.” To this day he remains a leading figure in Cricket, especially in Esendon Maribyrnong Park Ladies Cricket Club where he is a member of life.
He is very feasible for induction, “Greenberg said.
