Beleagavi: The lost toddler since Friday the TubeWell pole was abandoned on Saturday in the village of Alabagh in Raibagh Taluk.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
In a cruel twist with the incident, Grandma Hasire Shatat Siddappa who was two years old had accused that the boy was killed by his father, Hasire Siddappa.
Grandma, Saraswati, told the police that father tied the boy’s leg with a cloth and threw it to Tubewell which was about 150 meters from their home.
However, he has not revealed the motive for the Father’s actions.
On Friday, Siddappa filed a complaint that his son was gone and he suspected that he might have been kidnapped.
The police put forward kidnapping and launched search operations.
They found the child trapped 10-15 feet in TubeWell.
A senior police officer said that they were waiting for the results of Postmortem.
There is no arrest that has been made so far.
