Kumar Bendigeri, a resident of Tadasinkoppa said, “Previously, my son studied in a private school in class VI.
But now, because of the severe financial crisis, I have moved my son to a government school.” Mohan Hanchate, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, said compared With last year, 93% of children in the district have registered at school and the reception process is still on.
After the pandemic hit the nation, many parents now want to send their wards to government schools, he said.
