PRAYAGRAJ: A guy was detained in Pratapgarh district Sunday in connection with a picture of a woman being molested that moved viral about social websites May 28.
When Kandhai authorities came to learn about this movie which has been going viral about social networking, a case under Sections 323, 504, 509 along with 354A of both IPC and Section 67 of Information Technology (IT) Act was registered against unknown persons.
Two police groups were formed to decode the episode.
Deputy SP (Raniganj) Dr Atul Anjan Tripathi told TOI,”Following the video moved viral about social networking, authorities shot the cognizance of the problem and filed an FIR against unknown persons under proper sections.
The police team approached the victim and listed her bills.
” On Sundaythe authorities detained the prime minister accused that had been involved with filming the woman while she was molested, and releasing the identical movie on social networking.
Police teams will also be searching for four of the accomplices.
Two men shot in Pratapgarh: A 44-year-old guy named as Rajjan Lal Soni, also a resident of Khampur Buzurg village at Amethi district along with his buddy Ajay Kumar Verma (28), resident of Gahrauli, were shot by a unidentified men around Maal Godown, Bhagwa Chungi street under Kotwali police station of Pratapgarh district on late Saturday night.
The injured persons were known to SRN Hospital at Prayagraj for therapy.
Authorities said that a probe was underway to learn the reason behind the event and teams also have been shaped to make sure the arrest of the assailants.
The incident happened when Rajjan and Ajay were arriving home in Keenapur village.
