Kalaburagi: someone sank and the others lost on the Krishna River near Devsugur in Raichur on Friday.
The deceased is Ganesh, 31, and Udaykumar, 30, lost.
They were residents of Raichur, and went to take a shower on the river on the occasion of Sankranti Makar.
Five friends also went with them, and watched their sinks.
The source said that the deceased was inexperienced swimmers, but still ventured into the river.
Ganesh’s body was taken by firefighters.
Active search for Udaykumar.
Shakthi Nagar police have registered a case.
