Dubai: Seven Australian cities, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, will host the T20 ICC World Cup from October 16 next year.
Two other cities that will have the possibility of a round 1 match including Geelong and Hobart with iconic melbourne cricket soil from the final.
“The program scheduled to take place between October 16 and November 13 will see a total of 45 matches held at Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney,” said the ICC press release.

Among countries that have been eligible for Super 12 are defending Australian champions and New Zealand runners-up.
Along with the finalists, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, India, Pakistan and South Africa, which is the next highest ranking team, will get entered directly to the Super 12.
Namibia, Scotland, Sri Lanka and the second champion of West Hindies will play in the round 1.
