Hubballi: Hubballi-Dharwad (East) Mla Prasad Abbaiyya said he tested the positive Covid-19 on Wednesday with mild symptoms.
The MLA Congress will be in the quarantine of the house for one week based on the doctor’s advice.
He asked his supporters and people not to visit his home for a week.
He also urged those who had been closely related to him recently to isolate themselves and tested.
He had attended several official involvement on Monday.
On Tuesday he felt unwell because he lived at home and gave a swab for the test at night, his office staff said.
Abbaiyya has asked people to visit his office in HDMC where every help for a week or contact his office staff by telephone.
This is the second time MLA has been positively tested.
He got a virus during the first wave of pandemic.
