Mnnit convocation to be held in online mode today

Prayagraj: The 18th annual Convocation of the National Technology Institute of Motilal Nehru (MNNIT) Allahabad (Prayagraj) for 2021 will be held on January 18 in virtual mode.
Students from various courses will be given degrees.
The Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar will be the main guest of the event.
In the online press meeting on Monday, the Director of the Institute, Prof.

Overall, 860 BTECH, 367 MTECH, 85 MCA, 35 MBA, 18 MSC, and 99 Bachelor of PhD will receive their degree.
During the meeting, 61 foreign students admitted through Dasa will also receive their degree.
Students merit from the Institute will be given with a gold medal that 32 will be given to graduate students and 13 to undergraduate students.
Apart from this gold medal, 12 sponsored gold medals formed by faculty, alumni and industry will be given to students for their extraordinary performance.
He further said that a total of 229 female students will be given a degree.
Akshat Jain from the civil engineering branch will be given with the entire Gold Medal Institute as the best students in Btech in the last year of students who passed Batch 2021.
He will be awarded five gold medals.
In the category of gold medal year-wise, Arya Mittal (CSE) for the third year, Shubham Dixit (CSE) for the second year and Amisha Sinha (ECE) for the first year will be awarded a gold medal.
