Dhaka: Pakistan Wicketkeeper-Batsman Mohammad Rizwan said Monday he felt good after the spell in intensive care for chest infections and would start practicing for a series in Bangladesh.
Rizwan made a magical recovery last week after two days in the hospital to submit the main performance at the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in the UAE where he scored 67 in Australia.
He completed the tournament with 281 Run, the third highest among all the Batsmen, despite being lost in the final after the loss of five pakistani goal which was heartbreaking for the final winner.
His exploitation in the tournament took the calculation to 1,033 by 2021, making it the first person to score more than 1,000 runs in one calendar year in Twenty20 Internationals.
“I am happy that I have scored the most goals in the calendar year.
But I am more pleased that I can secure this note for my country,” Rizwan told reporters in Dhaka.
Rizwan, who scored 1,743 runs on all twenty -20s in 2021, also the calendar year record, now has the opportunity to add a few more running again to Tally as Pakistan taking Bangladesh in the three-match series starting on Friday in Dhaka.
He struggled in the early years of his Twenty20 international career on average only four runs in 2016 and 14.80 in 2019.
But he showed a promise in 2020 by scoring his illustration fifty against New Zealand in December before realizing this year’s full potential.
Twenty20 Second and third international against Bangladesh will be held on November 20 and 22, also in Dhaka.
