Rajkot: Investigation against the murder of Junagadh-based lawyers, allegedly carried out by his wife, revealed that he had decided to kill him on Sunday, a day before the real crime.
The 30-year-old man, Kajal Dafda was arrested for killing his husband Nilesh when he was fed up with drinking habits and domestic violence.
On Monday night, he repeatedly slitting his throat with a knife as he fell asleep.
Previously on Sundays too, Kajal had tried to kill Nilesh by giving him a coffee mixed with pesticides.
“As long as it was questioned, Kajal told the police that he had bought a pesticide used in eliminating weeds and mixed it with coffee on Sunday night.
Nilesh drank it but did not have the desired effect, so he splits his throat on Monday,” Vasammsetty Ravi Teja, supervisor Police, Junagadh, told reporters on Tuesday.
Kajal was officially arrested on Tuesday.
The relationship between the couple was tense for the past few months and Kajal was fed up with the regular facas drunken at home.
On Sunday night, Nilesh returned drunk and quarreled with Kajal.
He could not bear violence in the household and went to his mother-in-law, who lived in the same area, took along Nilesh.
He told his mother-in-law about Nilesh’s behavior.
He was advised to call Nilesh Vishal’s friend to their house because he would listen to him.
Kajal returned home and called Vishal.
After a short conversation, Nilesh, who was very drunk, sleep well and Vishal left.
But Kajal was still boiling with anger and decided to kill him.
He took the knife and slit of the nilesh throat.
