Harare: Pace Bowler Mustafizur Rahman is doubtful for Bangladesh when they are preparing to take Zimbabwe in three internationally one day, while captain Tamim Iqbal said on Thursday, he hoped to struggle with injury.
Mustafizur took an ankle injury in a warm-up match Wednesday two days before the start of the series, according to the team.
“He’s 50-50 now.
We will get an idea about him after today,” Tamim said to the video press direction on Thursday.
Tamim, who missed Bangladesh’s victory in the first exam against Zimbabwe in Harare last week due to a knee injury, more confident that he would play.
“My injury in such circumstances will not disappear quickly.
It won’t recover in five to six days.
Fisio gave me a plan.
I hope I can manage it in a series,” Tamim said.
Bangladesh has been without Wicketkeeper-Batsman Mushfiqur uterus that withdrew from the tour due to family emergencies.
Tamim shrugged out of all forms of All-Rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who only scored three runs in a test round, after a disappointing show in the house series against Sri Lanka.
“I am always an optimistic man.
I believe the player from this stature can return anytime,” Tamim said.
This series began Friday at Harare Sports Club Ground.
The remaining two matches on July 18 and 20.
Three Twenty20 International will follow.
