Dubai: The Netherlands Fast Bowler Vivian Kingma has been given four matches to damage the ball during the third international team on his side against Afghanistan, said the Council of Cricket International (ICC) on Wednesday.
Kingma will miss the four limited matches of his team after breaking the level three of the ICC code during Tuesday’s match in Doha.
“The incident occurred at 31 of the Inning Afghanistan, when Bowler quickly changed the ball condition by scratching it with his nails,” ICC said in a statement.
Kingma, 27, recognized a violation and received sanctions proposed by matching Wendell La Brooy referee, he added.
The Netherlands was given a five-run sentence, and lost a match of 75 Run when Afghanistan finished sweep 3-0.
