Kingston (Jamaica): West Indies and Ireland have announced a new date for the rest of the international series one day after the second match on Tuesday was postponed because of the Coronavirus outbreak in tourist camps.
The second odi will now be played on Thursday, with the third and last ODI lasting three days later.
Both matches will take place at Sabina Park in Kingston.
A statement of Ireland’s cricket said: “rescheduling after five positive Covid-19 cases, and injury in the Irish camp who left Irish troops finished.” The revised list of equipment means that one-off scheduled Twenty20 International has been canceled to avoid having an impact on the plan of the West Indies travel and the next equipment.
Matching ODI formed a part of the World Cup Super League, with both teams who want to get points to get a place that meets automatic requirements for the Cricket 2023 World Cup in India.
West Indies led the 1-0 series after their 24-run victory in the first ODI on Saturday.
