PrAsagraj: The Prayagraj district has set a record of highest vaccination in one day because 90,483 Jab is managed to the recipient of all age groups in the city of Sangam on Tuesday with a special vaccination campaign.
This campaign was held at 383 sites on Tuesday and the city of Sangam recorded the highest changes throughout the state.
The city of Sangam was followed by Ghaziabad (79,087), Lucknow (74,289), Gorakhpur (63,299) and Agra (61,399).
More than 28 Jab Lakh is given to the recipient in one day (Tuesday) throughout the state.
However, there will be no Covid-19 vaccination in rural based vaccination sites on Thursday.
Vaccination exercises will be carried out in nine urban based vaccination sites.
These sites include Divisional Hospital MLN (Colvin), TB Sapru Hospital (Buy), Districtwomen Hospital (Dufferin), Masoh Eye Hospital, MLN Medical College, Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital, Train Hospital API, the vaccination center of the High Court and TB of the Hospital, Teliyarganj.
A senior health official said vaccination was suspended in rural areas due to lack of vaccines and vaccination would be held in urban areas only on Thursday.
Interestingly, District Immunization Officers and additional Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) Dr.
Teuth Lal told the Toi that the department aims to cover the maximum number of recipients in a single campaign and we have succeeded in our efforts.
He, however, said that we would take vaccination training on rural and urban-based sites according to the availability of vaccines.
In the city of Sangam, more than 13 lakh jab has been given to the recipient of all age groups until 4.
August In addition, the district health department officials have set the target of providing Covid vaccines to around 39.87 people, including 27 Lakh recipients between 18 and 44 and 12.87 lakh over 45 years.
