Prasagraj: In the background of the fact that various areas of the city of Sangam have faced drinking water problems because of the damaged water pipes or in the absence of the same thing, now the authorities of Jal Sanshthan, ProAgraj has decided to lie down more than 77 kilograms of water pipes in various areas of the city and resolve the problem.
Jal Sansthan previously conducted a broad survey of seven city zones that had reported to repeat the problem of drinking water.
After conducting a survey, it has been decided that the seven zones will be given a new water pipe and the total length will be 77.2 km.
According to General Manager of Jal SanSthan, Harianchand Balmiki, areas including Kareli, Atala, Alolacapur, Alopibagh, Alopibagh, Malviya Nagar, Dairyabad, Sadiyapur, Lukerganj, Mumfordganj, Transport Nagar, Katra, Kanhaipur, Rajroota, and Area Naini and Phafamau.
“We will not only replace the damaged or dilapidated pipes with new ones but will also put this water pipe in areas not the same”, the official said.
Previously, GM had sent a proposal to Corporation City Prayagraj and the same thing was now approved.
This project will cost around RS 15 Crores and work for the same thing it will begin this week itself.
In accordance with detail, one zone (Khuldabad) will be given 22.07 km of pipes, two zones (muttiganj) 11.66km, three zones (Katra) with 14.53km, four zones (Allahapur) 13.69km, Zone Lima (Naini) 14 , 35 km, zone six (Bamrauli) 11.27km and seven zones (Phaphamau) with a pipe of 23.5 km.
These locations previously reported several complaints from the problem of clean drinking water and the same main cause was the old pipes damaged in places, inviting contaminated drinking water.
With new pipes and damaged or rusty pipes are replaced by fresh pipes, the authorities believe that the problem of drinking water in these areas will be resolved.
