Wellington: India will not go around New Zealand this year because of the packaged calendar and restrictions related to Covid-19.
India will have to quarantine for 14 days to play three odi as part of the World Cup Super League.
New Zealand spokesman (NZC) confirmed for the things that the Indian game will play after the T20 World Cup in Australia next year.
New Zealand is also scheduled for a tour of India in November for two tests and three T20s.
New Zealand will host Bangladesh, the Netherlands and South Africa in the summer in addition to seven teams at the Women’s World Cup in March-April.
Tests on Bangladesh and South Africa are part of the world test championship.
“We must pay attention to players who return from a long winter and we have to give them time at home too,” said Chief Executive NZC David White.
The black hat will undergo 14 days from Isolation and Quarantine managed (MIQ) after returning from India before Christmas.
It will not allow NZC to host a boxing test on December 26 and the opening against Bangladesh can begin on December 28 or newer.
