Prasagraj: Commuter in the city of Sangam has a reason to rejoice as the Authority of the City Prayagraj Limited Transport Service (PCTSL) showering as many as 15 buses operated with batteries operated with batteries, on five different routes on Thursday.
All 15 electric and air-conditioned buses are being chostered on five routes, including the train station to Lalgopalg, Stantipuram to Raymond Crossing, Trivenipuram to Puramufi, Bairhana to Shankagarh and Depot Civil Lines to Pratappur.
A total of 25 buses have landed in the city and 15 of them have showered the streets of the city under the first phase.
The 10 bus break will be ready under the second phase next month.
All 15 buses have been registered in the district regional transportation office (RTO).
PCTSL implementing director, TKS Bisen told Tii, “PCTSL authorities on Thursday slapped 15 air-conditioned buses and electricity on five city roads chosen, under the first phase, after chalking out map of detailed routes for its operations.” He then added, “10 buses remaining will be appreciated on the same five routes in January.” Bisens, meanwhile, added that the mega charging station has been developed near the old bridge, on the Yamuna River (Naini side), where 25 electronic buses can be charged at a time.
The PCTSL authorities claimed that they received 25 buses and 15 of them had been registered with local RTO.
After the remaining 10 buses are registered in the next few days, they will also become compliments next month.
